A recent meeting with Senator Schumer

The Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners’ Association (NSWCA) was founded in 1986 to promote environmental excellence and advance the highest standards of water quality, supply and distribution.

Composed of locally elected Water Commissioners from 21 Nassau and Suffolk County Water Districts, we provide information crucial to water district management and operational effectiveness. The NSWCA supports education and training, provides advice, direction and information on industry-wide issues, and maintains legislative advocacy as well as public relations support.

The NSWCA helps to ensure that all members are responsive, knowledgeable about problems and resources and fully accountable to constituents at all times.
